The guild brings in thousands of people to see the best quilts from around the state. Quilters said no matter how advanced technology gets, quilting is still a tough craft to master.
"We see about 1,500 people come through the doors, and they're just so excited to come see the quilts and shop," said Annette Bean with the Quilters Guild. "We also have vendors that are selling machines, and that’s domestic sewing machines of all different brands."
Oklahoma quilters can come out to thrift supplies for their next project.
"We have vendors here that are selling fabric. Lots and lots of fabric," Bean said.
The show costs $10 at the Cole Community Center, and the main attraction is the quilt competition, where people can vote for their favorite.

"They judged almost 200 quilts and had to determine who was the best in each category," said Marilyn Karper with the Quilters Guild. "Viewer's choice. Anyone that comes in can make a ballot and choose which is their favorite quilt, and that maker will get a sewing machine."
Participants said they are glad to have their community stitched back together again.
"It's very exciting, because we've had four years to make quilts, and it's almost like they wanted to enter more but we didn’t have room for more," Karper said.
The quilt show will be open again on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
